As our Pre Sales Enablement & Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and developing a global Pre-Sales organisation of approximately 40 professionals. Working closely with senior leadership, you will identify capability gaps, design scalable enablement programmes, and deliver engaging learning experiences that improve performance, productivity and consistency across the team.
This role is primarily focused on capability development, onboarding and continuous learning, while using business insights and operational data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Partnering with Sales Engineering, Product Management, Professional Services and Sales Leadership teams, you will help ensure our technical sales organisation has the skills, knowledge and resources needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver onboarding, training and development programmes that accelerate the effectiveness and productivity of Solutions Architects and Sales Engineers.
- Develop and maintain a skills framework, identifying capability gaps and driving targeted enablement initiatives to support individual and team performance.
- Own the Pre-Sales enablement ecosystem, creating and maintaining engaging training materials, technical content, demos, proof-of-concept resources and scalable learning assets.
- Establish and optimise Pre-Sales processes, including demo delivery, proof-of-concept management and technical handover activities, driving consistency and operational efficiency.
- Analyse reporting, dashboards and business insights to identify capability gaps, measure enablement effectiveness and support continuous improvement across the Pre-Sales organisation.
- Work with internal teams to leverage systems, reporting and business insights to identify capability gaps and support enablement initiatives.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Professional Services and Finance to drive alignment, share insights and support strategic business objectives.
- Support workforce planning and growth initiatives through resource allocation, capacity planning and forecasting activities.
- Lead and coordinate Pre-Sales enablement activities for annual Sales Kick Off and other strategic learning events

About you:
Essential Requirements
- Experience in Sales Enablement, Revenue Enablement, Learning & Development, Sales Training, Sales Engineering or a similar role.
- Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding, training or enablement programmes.
- Experience supporting sales, commercial or customer-facing teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical learning solutions.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience within SaaS, software or technology organisations.
- Experience supporting Pre-Sales or Technical Sales teams.
- Experience using Salesforce, Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms.
- Experience working within a global organisation.
- Knowledge of the utilities, energy or grid software sectors.
