Job Description
Position of the Function in the Organization
Member of the USystems Cooling organization within Legrand Data Centre Solutions.
Direct reporting line to: Cooling Director - LDCS Europe.
Functional interface with Sales teams, Global Key Account teams, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations.
Solution Design & Technical Support
- Provide technical input for RFQs, tenders, proposals, and framework agreements.
- Answer technical queries related to performance, integration, efficiency, and reliability.
- Develop and validate solution designs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and LDCS standards
- Ensure accurate and structured technical handover to project execution, service, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to address complex technical challenges.
Market Feedback & Internal Collaboration
- Provide structured feedback to product management regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
- Support internal sales enablement and technical training activities.
- Participate in industry events, customer visits, and trade shows as a technical ambassador for USystems cooling solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical presales reference for USystems cooling solutions.
- Support regional sales teams and Global Key Account Managers on opportunities.
- Engage directly with end customers, consultants, and partners.
- Deliver customer-facing technical presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations.
- Translate customer requirements into compliant, optimized, and competitive cooling solutions.
- Qualify opportunities, assess technical feasibility, and influence solution positioning.

Qualifications

- Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across functions and cultures.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Proven experience in data centre cooling (presales, engineering, or technical sales).
- Strong understanding of data centre cooling principles (airflow management, heat rejection, redundancy, energy efficiency).
- Experience delivering customer-facing technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and credibly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent English (written and spoken), additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe, as required by business needs.

Desirable
- Experience with rear door heat exchangers, liquid-assisted cooling, or high-density / AI / HPC environments.
- Experience supporting strategic or global accounts.
- Exposure to large multinational organizations and matrix environments.
