About The Role
The Media & Entertainment Pre-Sales Consultant plays a key role in helping Jigsaw24 shape, position and deliver high-quality technical solutions for customers across post-production, broadcast, production and live services environments. Working closely with Sales, Technical Solutions, Professional Services, Service Delivery and vendor partners, the role is responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing appropriate solutions, supporting commercial opportunities and ensuring a smooth transition from initial engagement through to proposal, approval and delivery.
The role requires a consultative approach and a strong understanding of media workflows, including editing, shared storage, ingest, transcoding, archive, MAM, remote production, cloud and hybrid workflows, live production infrastructure and the wider technologies that support modern creative and broadcast operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and the Jigsaw24 sales team to understand, capture and qualify technical requirements across media and entertainment opportunities.
- Design and position effective solutions covering post-production, production and live services workflows, ensuring proposals are technically sound, commercially viable and aligned to customer outcomes.
- Support opportunities involving technologies such as editing platforms, shared storage, archive, ingest, transcoding, media asset management, workflow orchestration, cloud, hybrid and remote production services.
- Provide technical input into proposals, scopes of work, service descriptions, statements of work, tender responses and customer presentations.
- Create and confidently deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and solution walkthroughs to internal and external audiences.
- Plan, configure and support proof of concept activity where required, including use of Jigsaw24 demo environments and vendor technologies.
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Project Management, Service Delivery and Support teams to ensure solutions can be delivered, supported and transitioned effectively.
- Identify and document solution assumptions, dependencies, risks, exclusions and customer responsibilities to support clear handover and delivery governance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and technology partners, keeping up to date with market developments and emerging media workflow trends.
- Represent Jigsaw24 at customer meetings, workshops, webinars, industry events and trade shows where technical pre-sales input is required.
- Support marketing and proposition activity by providing technical insight into campaigns, customer messaging and go-to-market material.
- Maintain accurate opportunity notes, design assumptions and pre-sales activity records within relevant business systems.
- Share knowledge internally and support the continued development of Jigsaw24’s media workflow, production and live services capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
