Are you a recognised technical expert in data protection, backup and cyber resilience platforms? Do you enjoy shaping complex enterprise solutions, influencing strategy, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders? Within Computacenter’s Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area, we are expanding our Resilient Data Platforms capability and are looking for an exceptional Presales Solution Lead with deep experience in backup, recovery, and data protection technologies.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise infrastructure transformation, partnering closely with leading vendors such as Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault and HPE, while helping some of the world’s largest organisations protect, recover and derive value from their data.

What you'll do

Leading the technical qualification, design and positioning of complex data protection and resilience opportunities spanning backup, recovery, ransomware mitigation and cyber resilience Acting as the technical champion for one or more strategic vendor ecosystems (Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault, HPE or adjacent platforms), helping teams articulate value and differentiate solutions Positioning vendor technologies alongside Computacenter’s professional services, including advisory, design, migration, and transformation services Building trusted advisor relationships with senior customer stakeholders, influencing technical strategy and long term roadmaps Supporting the growth of the Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area, contributing directly to pipeline development and revenue outcomes Act as an internal expert for Resilient Data Platforms, enabling sales teams through education, enablement and thought leadership Support strategic customer workshops, roadmap discussions and executive engagements Represent Computacenter at vendor partner boards, technical forums and industry events

What you'll need

Proven experience owning enterprise customer relationships from a technical or presales leadership perspective Strong expertise in one or more data protection and backup platforms (Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault, HPE or similar), or closely adjacent technologies with a strong desire to deepen capability Experience designing compelling, outcome led solutions aligned to customer business challenges The ability to identify and progress commercial opportunities in partnership with vendors and sales teams Experience positioning and selling professional services alongside technology platforms Confidence operating as a thought leader, engaging credibly with both technologists and senior decision makers
