I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Your contribution to evolution of services is also key, working closely with Product Management on technology evaluations, contributing to the development of new managed services offerings, keeping Product Management informed about customer views and perceptions, related information security issues and implications for our solutions.
Most importantly, we are looking for a team player, someone who will fit in to the existing comradery. We work hard but have fun together in doing so.
Due to the nature of the role, there will be a need from time to time to travel within the country, and occasionally overseas.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Consulting with clients to understand their current security and business challenges in order to define a clear set of requirements and priorities.
- Propose innovative solutions and services that address these requirements; enabling customers to improve their security capability, level of security maturity and prioritise security investment to best mitigate customer’s risks, strengthen defences and reduce vulnerabilities.
- Build appropriate bills of materials, high level designs and scope up appropriate professional services engagements.
- Write compelling security and service-based customer-facing proposals, work with Bid Teams on RFI/RFP responses and work with account managers to develop associated commercials.
- Presenting proposed solutions to the customer in order to articulate the benefits and value of the solution and/or service.
- Architect blended solutions (Product, Professional and Management Services, including support options) that meet the business requirements of new and existing clients. Solutions should leverage components of I360 core products and fulfil all internal operational and support guidelines in line with our product/services catalogue.
- Leveraging key relationships with vendors to ensure solutions can be tailored from all available product/service providers.
- Experience in communicating with internal / external stakeholders with the ability to lead client meetings from a technical design perspective to drive an appropriate design. The ability to influence throughout the sales life cycle and enable delivery of a compliant solution.
- Clear communication with Professional Services & Managed Services Teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Experience in a role as a security consultant, providing high level technical consultancy in the design and implementation of multi-vendor networks.
- Successful track record and experience in bidding on complex cyber security tenders.
- Confirm Integrity360 bid meets the customers’ requirements and assist sales in technical qualification during the qualifying process.
- Building up a trusted advisory relationship/partnership with our customers and providing them with advice and guidance on their security challenges.
