The successful candidate will act as a recognised subject matter expert across one or more Workplace go-to-market areas while maintaining sufficient breadth across the wider Workplace portfolio to develop integrated customer solutions.

Working closely with sales leadership, solution architects, partners, services teams and the Workplace CTO, the Presales Solution Leader will help customers address business challenges through innovative, commercially viable and deliverable technology solutions.

This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. It carries significant influence across the Workplace business and requires the ability to lead through expertise, credibility and customer trust rather than formal authority.

What you'll do

Presales Leadership

  • Lead the technical strategy and solution development for significant Workplace customer opportunities.
  • Support strategic bids, competitive pursuits and framework responses.
  • Own solution quality and governance during customer engagements.
  • Act as technical solution authority and thought leader throughout the sales lifecycle.

Solution Design and Architecture

  • Design end-to-end Workplace solutions aligned to customer business outcomes.
  • Develop integrated Workplace propositions spanning multiple technology domains, including vertical and sub-vertical focus.
  • Ensure solution designs align with Computacenter standards, partner roadmaps and industry good practice.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions can be successfully implemented and supported.
  • Contribute to the creation and evolution of reference architectures, reusable assets and solution blueprints.

Customer Engagement

  • Engage directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams through to CIO and CTO level.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, executive briefings and strategic solution planning sessions.
  • Translate customer business requirements into clear technology solutions and roadmaps.
  • Present and defend solution recommendations to customer decision-makers.
  • Build trusted adviser relationships with customer technology leaders.

Workplace Portfolio Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across Intelligent Endpoints and Endpoint Management, Workplace AI and Copilot, Collaboration and Communications, Smart Spaces and Hybrid Workplace, Frontline Solutions, Secure Application Access, Digital Employee Experience, Workplace Analytics, Device Lifecycle Solutions, and Workplace Automation and Service Integration.
  • Maintain awareness of adjacent technologies including Cyber Security, Enterprise Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Data and AI Platforms, Automation and Managed Services.
  • Contribute practical customer and market insight to the evolution of the Workplace Hot Topics strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
