Home based
£58,000-£68,000 + Benefits (depending on experience)
About the Role
Our client is a National Fibre Wholesaler who has partnered with the UK’s biggest fibre networks as well as creating their own platform, in their quest to offer unbeatable reliability and best in class security to clients nationwide. Due to their rapid growth and phenomenal success, they are now looking to recruit an additional Pre-Sales Technical Consultant.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly capable Pre-Sales Technical Consultant who will be responsible for demonstrating our Client’s technical/overall solution value and their network, to new & existing Partners. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to the business.
- Actively drive and manage the pre-sales process with customers across all ‘go to market’ channels.
- Articulate the company’s product & technology portfolio, and provide technical assistance and guidance during both the onboard & pre-sales process.
- Demonstrate our Client’s portal for Partners as part of pre-sales, on-boarding and post on-boarding.
- Be the technical lead in responses to bids / RFPs from existing and new Partners, ensuring the final submission is professional and of the highest quality.
- Validate all base migrations and the optimum technical / commercial solution to deliver them.
- Be key to the onboarding experience of our Client’s customers and how they consume the services from our Client in the most automated way possible with an API native approach.

Requirements
To apply, you will have proven experience in a wholesale telecoms business/industry. You will have strong communication and leadership skills through collaboration along with a strong understanding of the commercial Wholesale market. You will need an excellent knowledge of connectivity methods using fibre presentation along with knowledge of TCP/IP v4 and an understanding of TCP/IP v6. Strong knowledge in Internet technologies (routing, switching and general network infrastructure) including technologies associated with the ISP market, would be highly regarded as well as a working knowledge of current security issues and technologies concerning the industry, together with a demonstrable interest in keeping abreast with technical developments in this field. Good working knowledge of APIs / Portals and Partner on-boarding experience is essential.
