The Crop Care & Precision Tech organization is looking for a
Precision Tech Sales Specialist (m/f/d)
Grade 7 Exempt
Become part of a motivated, agile and innovative team that works in an exciting and challenging environment. As a Precision Tech Sales Specialist, you will drive sales funnel execution, customer conversion, CRM excellence and dealer capability development within your assigned territory. By collaborating with dealers and customers, you will help expand the adoption of John Deere's Precision Technology portfolio and the John Deere Operations Center through training, demonstrations and customer-focused sales support.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of the Precision Technology sales funnel within the assigned territory in UK & Ireland, ensuring effective opportunity management and conversion.
- Support Precision Technology sales and adoption targets in the assigned region through close collaboration with dealers, sales teams and key customers.
- Ensure high-quality CRM discipline and data accuracy to enable effective pipeline management, forecasting and business decisions.
- Support Strategic Account Management and Key Account Management customer conversion activities by identifying opportunities to increase customer adoption of Precision Agriculture solutions and the John Deere Operations Center.
- Execute dealer capability development initiatives to strengthen dealer competencies in Precision Technology sales, customer engagement and solution selling.
- Assess dealer training needs and deliver targeted product, sales and technology training programs.
- Plan and support dealer demo days, customer events and field demonstrations to showcase the value of Precision Agriculture solutions.
- Serve as the regional Precision Technology expert and trusted advisor for dealers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Dealer teams to accelerate customer acquisition and technology adoption.
- Gather market, dealer and customer feedback to support continuous improvement of products, processes, and go-to-market strategies.

What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of Precision Agriculture technologies, digital farming solutions, and agricultural equipment.
- Experience in agricultural sales, dealer support, precision technology, or related customer-facing roles.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to manage opportunities, drive customer conversion, and support business growth.
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining high standards of data quality and pipeline management.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and translate them into value-based technology solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience delivering product training, demonstrations, and capability development programs.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Passion for agriculture, innovation, and helping customers realize value from technology.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally beyond.

What Makes You Stand Out
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and apply precision technology within a spectrum of use cases and production systems.
- Established network within ISG Product Management and Product Marketing
- Experience building effective relationships with customers/dealers, training specialists and documenting customer engagement.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple teams, functions, or business units to drive impact.
- Strong, demonstrated problem solving skills in both software and electrical applications.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience within agriculture
This exempt position is office based at our Sales & Marketing unit in Langar, Nottingham, UK. The position is vacant immediately. This role will report to Katharina Menzel, Division Sales Manager, Crop Care and Precision Tech, UK & Germany.
