Senior Project Manager | Pre-Construction | Solar + Storage
Location: UK Remote (Office in London)
We are currently partnered with a leading renewable energy developer with a significant portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects across the UK, including a growing portfolio of complex NSIP/DCO projects.
As the business continues to transition projects from development into delivery, they are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Pre-Construction to take ownership of projects through the critical commercialisation phase, from Ready-to-Build through to FID and Notice to Proceed.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Construction, you will sit at the centre of the project team, coordinating closely with Project Directors, Commercial, Development, Grid, Engineering, Procurement, Land and Asset Management functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management activities from Ready-to-Build through FID and Notice to Proceed.
- Develop and manage the pre-construction programme, driving projects towards key commercial and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate across commercial, development, grid, engineering, procurement, land and asset management functions.
- Lead and support contractor selection and procurement strategies, including EPC and multi-package contracting models.
- Work closely with procurement, commercial and legal teams during contractor negotiations.
- Ensure construction requirements, interfaces and delivery risks are fully understood and incorporated into project documentation.
