Preconstruction Manager
West Midlands
M&E Preconstruction Manager desired for a leading UK Construction powerhouse operating in The West Midlands. You will be working across major projects within Healthcare, Industrial, Education and Commercial. As an MEP Preconstruction Manager you will be guiding the tender process cradle to grave at a strategic level. Managing bids, tender negotiations, settlement etc from initial contract. This M&E Preconstruction Manager must come from a building services background, ideally through estimating, costing, design or management with a proven track record of M&E Preconstruction activities.

Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage enquiries through the bid process
- Oversee internal tender settlements
- Present tenders to clients
- Negotiate terms
- Take a lead on all bid, tender enquiries meetings
- Build long-term working relationships to further add to work winning strategies
- Working closely with the design, preconstruction and business development teams

Experience Required
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
- Worked across the M&E / building services sector
- Proven track record of the tender process
- Background from estimating, design or project management
