Preconstruction Manager / Preconstruction Director
London | £80,000 - £150,000 + Bonus + Package
The Company
Our client is a highly successful and growing main contractor with a turnover of circa £60m, delivering refurbishment, new build and specialist construction projects across London and the South East.
Having established an excellent reputation within the private sector, the business has successfully expanded into public sector construction and is now seeking to strengthen its senior leadership team to support the next stage of growth.
The company is already appointed to a range of major public sector frameworks covering housing, education, healthcare, fire safety and modular construction. With ambitious plans for further expansion, this is an opportunity to join a business at a pivotal moment in its development.
A key differentiator is the company's ownership of its own volumetric modular manufacturing facility, giving it a unique capability within the market and supporting its continued growth across both traditional and modern methods of construction.
The Opportunity
This is a strategic appointment for an experienced Preconstruction Professional.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
