Engineering Led Contractor - Central London based

This is a rare opportunity to move beyond functional leadership and to influence the strategic direction of the business.

The Context

The projects this London based contractor deliver are always complex – clients choose them specifically for this reason. This complexity enables the business to differentiate itself by delivering high-value solutions. It’s a core part of their DNA and not something they are willing to compromise on, as this value-led approach underpins their continued success. Because their projects are complex and require integrated, specialist engineering expertise, they adopt a consistent, method-led approach to work winning.

This approach requires highly experienced and balanced leadership across a wide breadth of operational, technical and commercial disciplines to bring together winning submissions and to set projects up for success.

Therefore, we are not only keen to speak to individuals already in a similar role, we are also keen to speak to experienced operational and commercial leaders looking to apply their years of delivery experience to this role.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Group MD and forming a key part of the senior leadership team, you will holistically lead the “Win it” part of the business strategy with an important interface with both "Find it" and “Deliver it”.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
