Prediction Markets – Trading & Research Roles
Location: Global offices including London, Chicago, New York & Singapore plus the potential for remote working depending on location.
Our client, a leading quantitative trading firm, is building out its capabilities in prediction markets and is looking to hire talented traders and quantitative researchers to join the team. The firm has recently built a dedicated platform and infrastructure for prediction markets and is investing heavily in developing systematic strategies across a broad range of markets. They are open to candidates from prediction markets, sports trading, sports betting or other systematic trading environments. The specific market background is less important than having a strong quantitative and systematic approach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The Opportunity
Depending on your background, you could be working across trading, quantitative research or a combination of both. The team is focused on developing and deploying systematic strategies, identifying market opportunities, building signals and models, analysing market behaviour and translating research into live trading strategies. A genuinely systematic approach is essential. This is not a discretionary trading role — candidates should be comfortable using data, quantitative analysis and systematic processes to drive trading decisions.

- Experience in prediction markets, sports trading, sports betting, or another systematic trading environment
- A demonstrably systematic and data-driven approach
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience developing, testing and/or implementing systematic strategies
- Strong interest in prediction markets and their application to quantitative trading
- Ability to work closely with traders, researchers and engineers
