37 hours per week – Permanent – Monday to Friday – Core hours 7.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. (shift pattern within these hours to be agreed) – Ability to take some annual leave during term time – Required ASAP

We are seeking to appoint a Premises Manager to join our warm and friendly team at Park Lane Primary School, where you will be a valuable part of the Park Lane team and help support everyday life of the school.

Park Lane is part of a Federation with Moorlands Primary School and there is the ability to work closely in collaboration with the Premises Team at Moorlands School.

At Park Lane, we are committed to providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors. The Premises Manager plays a key role in ensuring the effective management and maintenance of the school site and grounds. The role involves managing the school site/s and grounds, (Infants and Juniors), ensuring that they are maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition, and undertaking such tasks as may be necessary for effective site management.

The role also includes the coordination of health and safety, ensuring that regulations are followed and adhered to throughout the school.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is / Has

  • Self-motivated, dynamic and innovative
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and show initiative
  • Experience of managing small building projects and day to day building maintenance
  • Experience of working in a school environment – this is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders, including pupils and staff
