SCHOOL PREMISES OFFICER
Salary: £11.74 per hour (£24,419.20 per annum)
Working Hours: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7 between Monday and Sunday, Various shifts
Location: Crown Hills Community College, Leicester, LE5 5FT
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Premises Officer on a full-time, permanent basis based in Leicester.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to ensure site maintenance services are to a high standard across the school.
Due to the working hours of this role, it is essential that you live within a commutable distance to the site using your own transport. Public Transport is not available in the area at the times required for the role.
Responsibilities
- Locking/unlocking of the site/building gates and doors and ensure the safe custody of keys, fobs and access cards.
- Carry out audits of facilities.
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance of facilities.
- Participate in the Health & Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers or hazards encountered to the Site Manager.
- Carry out Litter picking and assisting cleaning teams as required.
- Escorting of sub-contractors as required.

Previous caretaker/porter and maintenance experience is not essential but would be an advantage.
