Premises Supervisor
Location: Dukesgate Academy, Little Hulton, Salford, Manchester, M38 9HF
Working Hours: 32.5 per week (split shift, 7am 9.30am and 2pm 6pm)
Working Pattern: Monday Friday all year round (holiday entitlement to be taken during school holidays)
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Closing Date: 3rd July 2026 at 12 noon
Interviews to be held: TBC
The Vacancy
We are looking to recruit a proactive, reliable and well-organised Premises Supervisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety in their day and wants to play an important role in supporting our school community.
This is a permanent position working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with split shifts of:
- 7:00am 9:30am
- 2:00pm 6:00pm
The successful candidate will report to the Cluster Facilities Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the school site
- Ensuring the school is safe, clean and well maintained for staff, pupils and visitors
- Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
- Monitoring the condition of the building, grounds, equipment and services
- Supporting health and safety compliance across the site
- Acting as a key holder and responding to emergency call-outs when required
- Supporting occasional out-of-hours events such as Parents Evenings and school community events
- Working under the direction of the School Principal to support school operational requirements as required
