The Venue
Coventry Building Society Arena has forged an enviable reputation as the leading international venue for a variety of events, attracting more than 1.3 million visitors a year. We are renowned for hosting a myriad of exhibitions, sporting events, including the Commonwealth Games, and a wide range of entertainment.
Home of Coventry City Football Club, Coventry Building Society Arena is synonymous with music, having hosted many of the biggest bands on the planet, including the Killers, Rammstein, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Harry Styles, and the Arctic Monkeys.
The Role
As a Premium Hospitality Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences across Coventry Building Society Arena's premium hospitality areas, including private boxes, restaurants, lounges, and other VIP spaces. Whether providing table service, supporting premium beverage service, or looking after hospitality guests, you'll act as an ambassador for the venue and Legends Global, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable matchday, concert, or event experience.
Working closely with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams, you'll deliver seamless, professional service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, hospitality, and guest care.
The Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional, and engaging service across premium hospitality areas, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience from arrival through to departure.
- Provide attentive food and beverage service, confidently guiding guests through menus, taking accurate orders, and ensuring timely, seamless delivery throughout service.
- Build positive relationships with guests by anticipating needs, responding promptly to requests, and resolving concerns in a professional and guest-focused manner.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and allergens, making informed recommendations and enhancing the guest experience through appropriate upselling where suitable.
- Maintain outstanding presentation and cleanliness standards across hospitality suites, boxes, lounges, restaurants, and service stations, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and licensing requirements.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and wider hospitality teams to deliver efficient, high-quality service that reflects the premium standards of Coventry Building Society Arena and Legends Global.

What we're looking for
- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences through attentive, personalised, and professional service.
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, stadiums, events, corporate hospitality, or premium service environments is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a diverse range of guests in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including an understanding of allergens and premium hospitality service standards.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and service quality.
- A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a successful guest experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days, alongside a genuine enthusiasm for live sport, entertainment, and hospitality.
