Cheshire | Monday–Friday | 8am–6pm | NO WEEKENDS

Looking for your next move but fed up with the typical main-dealer environment?

We’re working with a highly established independent automotive specialist in Cheshire who are looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to their team.

With 30+ years in the industry, this is a business that has built its reputation around doing things properly — combining main-dealer level expertise with the personal approach of an independent garage.

The Role

You’ll be joining a busy but professional workshop, working on a genuinely interesting mix of vehicles rather than the same jobs day after day.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Servicing & routine maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Advanced diagnostics & fault finding
  • Electrical fault finding
  • MOT preparation & repairs
  • Brakes, suspension & steering
  • Engine & transmission work
  • Timing chains and more complex repairs
  • Hybrid & EV servicing and diagnostics
  • Manufacturer-level software updates and coding

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
