POSITION SUMMARY
As a Prep Chef, you are responsible for assisting senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while developing culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to 74 Duke standards of food quality, food preparation and following recipes correctly.
- Adheres to 74 Duke standards of food preparation to properly minimise waste and maximise quality.
- Works closely with Chefs to ensure correct preparation and delivery times are kept and food quality is maintained.
- Assists the kitchen team in checking all deliveries of fresh produce and dry storage items required by the kitchen.
- Assures proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are followed in line with current UK Health & safety legislation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- To maintain a personal due diligence of hygiene, presentation, communication and progression.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for food and a desire to build a career in the culinary industry.
