Chilled Pubs is seeking a Fresh Food Preparation Assistant for our central production hub to join our growing team. With plenty of opportunities ahead, this could be the ideal company to help you advance your career.
What will I be doing?
Food safety is our top priority at Chilled Pubs. You will ensure compliance with our processes, delivering quality food to our pubs. This includes checking fresh produce deliveries and removing items that do not meet quality standards. You will be assigned a specific station for your shift, which could be:
- Dessert station: Making a variety of Chilled Pubs puddings, including homemade fresh gelato, cookie dough balls, and sticky toffee puddings.
- Raw meat section: Responsible for the preparation and packaging of different meats, including marinating and assembling our hanging skewers.
- Pizza section: Preparing all our toppings and sauces.

You will also support the Hub team with deliveries, offloading and loading vans for our twice-daily pub drops. You may need to assist the wider team with food prep in other sections, so you must be comfortable working with all food products.
Who are we looking for?
No previous kitchen experience is essential, but it would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with structure and processes, adhering to strict guidelines and food safety policies, and ensuring consistency. You should share our passion for Chilled Pubs and be genuinely excited to be part of our team.

This role requires an early morning start and your own transport. You will occasionally need to do some delivery driving shifts.
