Salary: A GBP 28k:32k + Bonus and BUPA after 6 months.

Are you a natural at building customer relationships, with a creative eye and a head for detail? Our client is looking for a Pre:Press Artworker to join their team, helping customers bring their branding projects to life : from first enquiry through to finished, print:ready artwork.

About The Role

This is a hybrid role combining consultative sales, creative design, and order management. You'll manage inbound enquiries, understand customer needs and budgets, and convert leads into confirmed sales : then turn your attention to designing compelling, high:quality artwork that meets production specifications. You'll also coordinate with suppliers and keep customers updated as their projects move through production.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing customer enquiries and converting leads into sales
  • Advising customers on design, materials, finishes, and branding options
  • Producing high:quality, print:ready artwork
  • Processing orders accurately and ensuring margins are met
  • Coordinating with suppliers to keep production on track
  • Maintaining and reporting on your sales pipeline

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a customer:facing sales role
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong design skills, with experience producing print:ready artwork
  • A confident, consultative communicator
  • Excellent organisational skills : you'll be juggling multiple projects and deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in print, graphics, branding, or large:format design is a bonus, as is familiarity with CRM or order management systems such as QuickBooks.
