Pre-Sales Consultant (Finance & ERP Software)

Location: Remote - must be UK-based

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 base + quarterly performance bonuses

About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing, cloud-native Financial Management Software and Cloud ERP vendor that bridges the critical gap between entry-level accounting tools and heavy, overly complex enterprise systems. Their modern platform empowers diverse organizations with core financials, advanced automations, and real-time business insights.

Position Overview

We are looking for a driven, client-facing Solutions Consultant to sit at the intersection of sales, finance, and software storytelling. In this role, you will work hand in hand with Account Executives to run discovery sessions, map complex business workflows, and deliver engaging, tailored product demonstrations that prove our client’s value to finance leaders (CFOs, Finance Directors, and controllers).

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the commercial team to identify opportunities and develop effective solution strategies.
  • Lead and contribute to discovery sessions, uncovering business challenges, processes, and desired outcomes.
  • Translate customer requirements into appropriate software functionality and solution design.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, tailored product demonstrations that connect software capabilities directly to prospect business value.
  • Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from day-to-day finance users up to C-level executives.
  • Handle technical, functional, and commercial questions or objections throughout the sales process.
  • Support RFIs, RFPs, and tender responses, and help maintain dynamic demonstration environments and presales assets.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Professional Services to ensure smooth customer handovers into implementation.
  • Travel to customer sites, partner meetings, and industry events when appropriate (averaging around once a month, plus seasonal events).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
