Kainos, a leading Workday partner, specialises in Workday Adaptive Planning. We’re looking for a Presales Consultant to join our sales team—your chance to thrive in a cross-functional group of software presales experts with deep expertise in SaaS Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Through interactive presales discovery meetings, you will:
- Analyse an organisation’s current operations and business needs.
- Demonstrate Adaptive Insights products and present tailored solutions to deliver unparalleled value.
Your role includes:
- Preparing and conducting software demonstrations for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) stakeholders across industries.
- Leading discovery calls to identify structural, process-based and technology-related challenges.
- Positioning and promoting high-value planning & reporting solutions for clients.
- Collaborating closely with the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Staying abreast of product evolutions and updating demonstrations accordingly.
- Designing, developing, and presenting proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions.
- Supporting Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
- Participating in marketing seminars, conferences, and webinars.
- Providing strategic sales input.
- Assisting with customer account management (acting as Executive Sponsor as required).
- Contributing to sales documentation (e.g., data guides, scripts).

Business Development Contributions:
- Cultivating relationships with Workday sales and partner teams.
- Supporting select account executions as an Executive Champion.
- Assisting in lead identification and sales cycle progression as needed.
Requirements
Minimum (Essential) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Deep SaaS sales experience with clients, particularly in cloud financial planning.
- Proven ability to present enterprise technology solutions to C-suite and technical stakeholders.
- Experience crafting impactful executive messaging for product demonstrations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong team ethos.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Capacity to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and excel with minimal supervision.
- Ability to self-start, work independently, and participate in remote/hybrid team settings.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

- Extensive FP&A, enterprise sales, implementation, or presales domain experience.
- Expertise in Adaptive Insights, competitor solutions, or ERP systems.
