The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a technically minded individual who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies rather than specialising in a single discipline. As a Presales Consultant, you'll work closely with Account Managers, customers, distributors and vendor partners to design solutions, provide technical guidance and help customers make informed technology decisions. You'll be a key part of the customer journey, combining technical expertise with a consultative approach to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer meetings to understand business and technical requirements.
- Design and recommend technology solutions aligned to customer objectives.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle.
- Work closely with Account Managers to develop customer opportunities.
- Respond to technical queries and solution requests.
- Collaborate with distributors and vendor partners to build competitive solutions.
- Produce solution proposals, quotations and supporting documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and technology partners.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
About You
We're keen to speak with individuals who have experience in a presales, technical consultancy or solutions-focused role within the IT channel. You'll ideally have:
- Experience working for a VAR, MSP or IT Distributor.
- A broad understanding of IT infrastructure and business technology solutions.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into solutions.
- The ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A consultative and commercially aware mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
