About the Role
You will partner with sales and product teams to shape and win complex opportunities across card issuing and processing. Acting as a subject matter expert, you translate client requirements into tailored, commercially viable solutions. You will lead RFP responses, solution design, and stakeholder engagement throughout the sales lifecycle. Success is measured through deal conversion, solution quality, and client confidence in proposed outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end presales activities for card issuing and processing opportunities
- Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and define winning strategies
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs and due diligence questionnaires with high-quality, compliant submissions
- Design and present client-centric solutions aligned to business, technical and regulatory requirements
- Engage with client stakeholders to elicit requirements and articulate solution value
- Collaborate with product, delivery and technology teams to align solution feasibility and scope
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs
- Support pricing strategy and commercial structuring in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain knowledge of card issuing and processing trends, schemes and regulatory developments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of presales frameworks, tools and knowledge assets

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in presales, solutions consulting, or a similar client-facing role within payments or fintech
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong knowledge of card issuing and processing ecosystems, including transaction lifecycle and authorisation flows
- Proven experience managing RFP/RFI responses and complex bid processes
- Ability to collaborate with delivery, and technology teams
- Track record of operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally across both corporates and fintech organisations
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to structure solutions and clearly articulate value propositions
- Degree in business, technology, finance, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with API-driven architectures, cloud-based deployments, and digital payment innovation
- Experience across adjacent payments domains, such as:
- Acquiring
- Open Banking
- Crypto and digital wallets
- Account-to-account (A2A) payments
- Understanding of payment regulations, scheme rules, and compliance considerations in issuing and processing
- Experience with issuing platforms, processing platforms, or switching systems
- Exposure to international card markets and multi-currency environments
- Experience supporting large, enterprise-level deals or transformation programmes
- Fluency in an additional European language (beyond English) is a plus
