Presales Engineer
What You Will Do
As a Presales Engineer, you will support the sales process by providing technical expertise, solution design, and customer-focused recommendations. Working closely with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders, you will help identify customer requirements and develop effective technical solutions that align with business needs. You will contribute to the redesign and enhancement of existing products and support production modifications where required. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical knowledge with customer engagement, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered while supporting business growth.

How You Will Do It
- Support the sales team by providing technical consultation during customer engagements.
- Gather and analyse customer requirements to develop appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
- Assist with the design and modification of products based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Provide technical input for quotations, tenders, and project documentation.
- Support product development activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, technologies, and market trends.

What We Are Looking For
Required:
- University degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; OR
- Associate/2-year degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Preferred:
- Previous experience in a presales, applications engineering, or solutions engineering role.
- Experience supporting customer-facing technical sales activities.
- Knowledge of product design, product modifications, or engineering principles.
- Familiarity with CRM and proposal management tools.
