Why You'll Love This Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Presales Manager to lead Presales as a strategic and commercial partner to Sales. You’ll lead a high-performing, disciplined function that strengthens opportunity qualification, improves solution quality and customer value, and drives better commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Presales Team: Build strong commercial, technical and consultative capability.
  • Partner with Sales: Shape qualification, win strategy and solution positioning, focusing resource on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Establish a Scalable Presales Operating Model: With strong priorities, ownership, metrics, and accountability.
  • Ensure High-Quality Discovery, Demonstrations, and Solution Design: Clearly articulate customer value and differentiate Civica.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Influence priorities and improve win outcomes.
  • Drive Measurable Impact: Across deal progression, conversion, revenue quality, and margin protection.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Within Presales, Solutions Consulting, Technical Sales, or a similar software environment.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen: Track record of improving opportunity quality, conversion, or sales performance.
  • Experience Leading Complex Software and Services Solution Selling.
  • Confidence to Challenge and Influence: Senior stakeholders using evidence and commercial insight.
  • Strong Coaching Skills: Particularly helping technical specialists communicate business value.
  • Data-Led, Proactive Approach: With strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
