Wavenet is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect – Cyber Security to play a critical role in shaping, advising, and delivering secure-by-design infrastructure that protects what matters most: our customers' critical assets.
As a key part of our expert cybersecurity and infrastructure team, you’ll partner with Sales, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to qualify opportunities, shape technical requirements, and architect resilient, compliant solutions that align with business needs and industry regulations. You’ll engage with C-level executives, contribute to bids and tenders, and stay ahead of market trends to help drive growth across our infrastructure services.
This role is ideal for a commercially aware and technically confident cyber professional who thrives in high-stakes, customer-facing environments and understands how to translate risk into robust architecture.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Design high-level, secure IT and cyber solutions tailored to customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives
- Join sales meetings to qualify opportunities and shape technical proposals
- Work with stakeholders across all levels, from engineers to execs
- Lead solution design, ensuring it's robust, aligned, and ready for delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to build and present multi-technology solutions
- Support bids, proposals, and handovers to delivery teams
- Keep documentation, costs, and project timelines accurate and up to date
- Stay ahead of tech trends and Wavenet’s evolving product portfolio
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, security, and governance
- Pitch in on marketing initiatives and training to keep your skills sharp
- Stay on top of emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and frameworks
- Ensure all solutions comply with Wavenet’s internal security policies and governance processes
- Support thought leadership, internal training, and marketing initiatives related to cyber trends and best practices

Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Have Done
- Successfully designed and delivered secure IT and cybersecurity solutions within the UK Managed Services market, ensuring alignment with customer needs, compliance standards, and business strategy.
- Converted complex pre-sales opportunities into closed deals, including cyber-focused engagements, contributing to revenue growth and enhanced client trust.
- Created high-level solution designs and compelling bid responses that highlighted security, resilience, and compliance, securing wins across mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Collaborated effectively across sales, technical, and leadership teams to build unified, cyber-aware and scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, engaging confidently with both technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Built a deep understanding of customer environments, identifying cyber risks and requirements, and translating them into tailored, value-driven security and infrastructure solutions.
- Navigated public sector procurement or bid governance processes, including security requirements and frameworks
