Position Overview
As a Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Presales Solution Consultant, you will be a pivotal member of our Software Sales organization, leading the charge in demonstrating the power of Simcenter STAR-CCM+. Your primary focus will be on securing new customer engagements and expanding our footprint within existing accounts by leveraging your deep technical expertise in CFD.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales activities, technical demonstrations, and compelling use cases for STAR-CCM+ fluid and thermal solutions
- Support sales teams with technical expertise and serve as the primary technical contact for customer consultations and key accounts
- Mentor team members on simulation best practices and technical approaches while contributing to knowledge sharing across the organization
- Understand customer R&D, design, and development workflows to position solutions effectively across multiple industries
- Build and maintain customer relationships while driving growth within the pre-sales and technical delivery teams

Qualifications
- Experience with STAR-CCM+ or equivalent fluid and thermal simulation software
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, customer engineering, or related technical support role at a software OEM
- Alternatively: Experience as a user of STAR-CCM+ at a company
- Deep knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermal simulation concepts, applications, and industry best practices
- Ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ready to travel regularly to customer sites and the London office (approximately once every two weeks)

Our Benefits & Rewards
The total cash compensation range for this position is £62.700 to £125.400 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
