Databricks Pre-Sales Solution Consultant
Location: London
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 Base (Depending on experience) + Benefits
About Our Client
Our client is a leading technology consultancy specialising in Salesforce, Data, Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence solutions. They partner with ambitious organisations to deliver large-scale digital transformation programmes, helping businesses modernise legacy environments, improve data quality, and unlock the full value of their information assets.
Working across multiple cloud ecosystems, the organisation takes a vendor-neutral approach, selecting the most appropriate technologies for each client's unique challenges rather than promoting a single platform.
Artificial Intelligence is a core part of the Organisation's strategy and delivery capability rather than an afterthought. Backed by a dedicated AI Innovation function, significant investment, and a culture that encourages experimentation, the business continuously explores emerging technologies and applies them to real client challenges.
About the Role
This is an environment where technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation go hand in hand. You'll work alongside highly experienced consultants on complex transformation programmes, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies while helping shape the future direction of both client solutions and the wider practice.
If you're motivated by solving technically challenging problems, enjoy working with modern data platforms, and want to play a key role in a growing practice, this opportunity offers both influence and long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Pre-Sales
- Lead the technical sales process for Databricks opportunities from initial discovery through solution design, proposal creation, and deal closure.
- Deliver engaging demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures that clearly articulate business value.
- Facilitate technical workshops to understand customer challenges and define appropriate solution approaches.
- Present complex technical concepts confidently to engineers, architects, technical leadership, and C-level executives.
- Collaborate closely with Databricks account teams to identify and develop joint opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
