Pre-Sales Solution Architect
Location: Newcastle – Hybrid
Salary: Up to £60,000
Our client is looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join their growing cybersecurity team. You’ll work closely with customers and sales teams to understand security challenges, design appropriate solutions and provide technical support throughout the sales process.
This is a customer-facing role combining cybersecurity expertise, solution design and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and design suitable cybersecurity solutions.
- Scope and shape security engagements from initial discussions through to proposal.
- Attend customer meetings, workshops and presentations as the technical subject matter expert.
- Support proposals, tenders and RFP/RFQ responses with technical input.
- Work closely with Account Managers to identify opportunities and develop customer roadmaps.
- Present cybersecurity solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Keep up to date with emerging security technologies, threats and market developments.
- Work with internal technical teams to develop effective solutions and resolve customer challenges.

Requirements
We’re looking for someone with a strong cybersecurity background and experience in a customer-facing technical or pre-sales environment. Experience across areas such as security assessments, penetration testing, SOC, SIEM, XDR, cloud security, vulnerability management, IAM or security strategy would be beneficial.

Experience with Microsoft Security technologies and/or Exabeam would be advantageous. You’ll also need strong communication and presentation skills, a commercial mindset and the ability to build relationships with both technical and senior business stakeholders. UK travel may be required, along with the ability to obtain UK security clearance. Existing clearance is advantageous.
