Microsoft Practice Lead – Pre-Sales & Strategy
This is a senior Microsoft-focused pre-sales and strategy role, responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the sales process and helping shape the organisation’s Microsoft practice.
The role will work closely with sales teams and prospective customers to:
- Understand business and technical requirements
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops
- Design and present solutions across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot and AI
A key focus will be demonstrating how Microsoft technologies can address business challenges and support digital transformation.

The position will also lead Microsoft estate and AI readiness assessments, identifying opportunities for automation and AI adoption and developing practical roadmaps. You’ll support complex sales opportunities, RFPs and tenders, create technical proposals and demonstrations, and develop proofs of concept where required.
From a practice perspective, the role will help shape Microsoft proposition development, technical capability and partner relationships, while working with internal delivery and product teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales into implementation.

Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience in pre-sales, technical consulting or solution architecture
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and cloud environments
- Experience with Azure, Modern Workplace, Copilot/AI, Power Platform, SaaS, IaaS and PaaS is particularly relevant
- Strong presentation, communication and solution-design skills
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 are desirable
