Madano’s Creative Practice

Madano Creative creates work that helps complex ideas capture attention, influence decisions, and inspire action. We believe presentations shouldn't simply inform - they should persuade, surprise, and leave a lasting impression.

We're looking for a Presentation Designer who sees every deck as an opportunity to create something exceptional. Someone who loves turning complexity into clarity, but never settles for just the obvious solution.

Led by Arian Oldroyd, our multi-disciplinary design team employs intelligence, passion, and commitment to craft highly visual content and creative solutions. As our Creative Practice continues to grow, we are looking for a specialist Presentation Designer to join the team.

The Role

Working as part of Madano's Creative Practice, the Presentation Designer plays a key role in creating high-quality presentations and visual communications for clients across science, healthcare, technology, and corporate sectors.

Presentation design sits at the heart of this role. We're looking for someone whose primary expertise is designing compelling PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations, combining strong visual storytelling, information design, and technical presentation skills to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

We're not looking for someone who simply builds slides. We're looking for someone who questions the brief, raises the creative bar, and constantly looks for ways to make presentations more engaging, memorable, and impactful. You'll be trusted to bring ideas, challenge conventions, and help shape how our clients communicate.

The successful candidate will have a portfolio that clearly demonstrates presentation design as a core specialism, including examples such as pitch decks, executive communications, data-led presentations, and other client-facing materials. They will work closely with colleagues across creative, strategy, project management, and client teams to deliver polished, engaging, and impactful presentations from initial brief through to final delivery.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design exceptional PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations that communicate complex ideas with clarity, creativity, and impact.
  • Transform content, data, and strategy into compelling visual stories using strong information design, typography, and layout.
  • Create presentation systems, templates, master slides, and interactive elements that are visually engaging, technically robust, and easy for clients to use.
  • Manage presentation projects from brief through to final delivery, balancing multiple priorities, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, project management, and client teams to challenge briefs, develop ideas, and raise the quality of every presentation.
  • Champion presentation design across the agency by bringing fresh thinking, exploring new techniques, and continually raising creative standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
