Timberwise is expanding and now require a Preservation Sales Surveyor in the Bristol area. There will be a need to travel throughout the region.
Role Description
As a Preservation Sales Surveyor, your role will include:
- Day to day surveying and contact with the clients through face-to-face surveys
- Development of a dedicated surveying area
- Selling the company's products and services
- Acting as technical liaison on all aspects of the products
- Effectively planning and prioritising workload
- Working full-time 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday but you may at times need to work outside these hours

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be / have:
- Experience in timber and damp, waterproofing, and / or property surveying capabilities
- Good knowledge of building construction
- A sales and development background, preferably in a similar product area
- A passion for sales and to be able to demonstrate enthusiasm in their role
- Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
- Experience of contract / site management
- Experience in liasing internally and externally on all technical matters
- A team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to succeed
- Hold the certificated Surveyor of Timber and Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB) and / or Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW). However, full in-house and industry training and support will be offered to exceptional candidates with transferable skills.
