A well-established manufacturing business in the Craigavon area is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position within a positive and supportive working environment, offering a stable weekday schedule with an early finish every Friday.
Your New Role
As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacture of high-quality products, ensuring all components are produced accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machinery in line with production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and bending schedules.
- Measure and inspect components to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate bends and high-quality finishes.
- Carry out routine quality checks and complete production documentation.
- Identify and report faults relating to machinery, materials, or finished components.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work effectively under the guidance of supervisors and as part of a wider manufacturing team.
- Support other manufacturing activities as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience operating a press brake machine within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
