Job Description
Energis is seeking applications for the post of Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client, a global manufacturing company based in Portadown. This is a permanent full-time role offering full-time day shift hours and an early Friday finish!
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machinery in line with production requirements
- Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions, and bending schedules
- Measure and check components, ensuring they meet specifications and tolerances
- Carry out quality checks and complete production records
- Identify any issues with materials or machinery and report to supervisor
- Ensure all work is completed to required standards and timelines

Criteria
- Previous relevant experience operating a press brake machine
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and written instructions
- Health and safety-focused
- Ability to complete tasks on time and to a high standard
- Work under instruction from supervisor
- Excellent teamworking skills
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Hourly rate is in the region of £16 – 20 /hr depending on experience. Working hours are 39.5 /week.
