Press Operative / Manufacturing Operative
Location: Tewkesbury
Contract Type: Ongoing temporary role, with the view to go permanent for the right candidate
Hourly Pay Rate: £15.68 per hour (increasing to £16.02 per hour on completion of training)
Hours: 37.5 per week

We're seeking a Press Operative / Manufacturing Operative to join our client's team in a hands-on role where quality, safety, and teamwork are key. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What You'll Be Doing
After a basic training period, you'll be able to work with limited supervision to produce parts in line with health, safety, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a limited number of machines safely and efficiently
- Using guards and safety switches correctly
- Locating materials and tooling
- Identifying and using correct parts and machines for production
- Handling tools and moulds safely
- Following production paperwork and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Flexibly supporting other areas of production as needed
- Adhering to all HSE requirements

Shift Patterns
This Role Operates On a Two-week Rotating Shift Pattern
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 11:53 PM (Friday Off!)
Includes 1 x 30-minute unpaid break per shift

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable mindset
- Excellent attendance and punctuality

- Scrap reduction
- Right First-Time production
- Number of lifts/parts produced
- Time and attendance
