We are currently hiring Press Brake Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment, operating saws and break out laser cut parts. It is expected that your knowledge, competency, speed and accuracy will improve over time.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7am-4pm
- Friday: 7am-1pm
Type: Permanent
Location: Stourport on Severn, DY13
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
- Manufacturing or assembling components in accordance with drawings or customers requirements.
- Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained.
- Operate saws, break out laser cut parts, linishing.
- Inspect products, evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Advise Supervisor of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or any other types of manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

- Reliability and good communication skills.
- Able to use hand tools.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate press brake controls, or previous experience in a similar environment.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
