What we do and why

Calibre's mission is to empower 100 million people to live their healthiest lives - with energy for today and confidence for tomorrow. As proactive health goes mainstream, people are left alone piecing together fragmented data across wearables, diagnostics, and contradicting advice.

Calibre is a UK-based proactive health membership that brings diagnostic testing, clinicians, and AI together to help people understand their health across different data streams and act on it, rather than guess at it. Members complete a personalised blood and urine panel (50+ biomarkers, tailored to their physiology and goals), five days of guided lifestyle tracking, and a detailed health history. With the help of AI, a dedicated clinician brings this together into an in-depth health assessment and a personalised action plan, with quarterly reviews and always-on support from the clinician and an AI navigator in between.

Calibre positions itself explicitly as a complement to, not a replacement for, a member's GP: it exists for proactive, personalised prevention work, while diagnosis, prescribing, and urgent care stay with the NHS.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a preventative health clinician to help deliver our unique clinical product to our growing member base. This is not a conventional clinical role. It requires curiosity, systems-level thinking, and the ability to integrate insights across disciplines to help our customers live vibrant and healthy lives.

We're flexible on how this role is structured. We're happy to consider either a permanent part-time position or a locum/sessional arrangement, depending on what suits the right candidate. Please indicate your preference when applying.

Job description

  • Interpret member blood results and other health data (biochemistry, hormonal, metabolic, lipid, and related markers) to create detailed, personalised health reports for members.
  • Assess multiple lifestyle and biomarker data points together to build a holistic prevention plan for the members goals of improving their energy as well as taking the right preventative actions for their long-term health.
  • Keep up to date with current evidence in preventive medicine and apply it to individual members, so recommendations are genuinely personalised rather than generic.
  • Produce detailed, individualised health assessment reports and plans.
  • Conduct 45-minute remote health assessment calls with members, explaining findings and agreeing next steps.
  • Act as the named clinician for their members, answering any questions that come up and guiding their progress over the course of their subscription.
  • Uphold the highest standards of care with respect to evidence base and clinical follow-up, including appropriate safety-netting and escalation where needed.
  • Feed clinical observations back to the product and commercial teams to improve the member offering, flagging gaps, risks, and opportunities in the assessment process.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities (e.g. case review, audit, incident reporting) to ensure patient safety and support Calibre's governance processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
