Join Our Team
SiriusPoint is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Pricing Actuary to support strategic pricing initiatives in the London Market’s Specialty Business.
Role: Reports to the Senior Pricing Actuary, embedded in the International Pricing & Planning team as part of the CUO Office.
### Responsibilities

Complex Risk Pricing:
- Support the pricing team’s analysis, pricing, and structuring of large, complex insurance and reinsurance contracts across multiple lines of business (e.g. Lloyd’s/London Market risks).

Pricing Tool Development & Improvement:
- Collaborate with class underwriters to develop and enhance pricing tools.
- Ensure tools align with best practice methodologies.
- Introduce new exposure models and improve parameterisation processes.

Portfolio Steering & Analytics:
- Perform analyses to underpin growth strategies and remediation efforts, including key account monitoring.
- Support performance reviews for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Business Planning Support:
- Contribute to planning materials such as loss ratio analysis (including trends and inflation impact).
- Support loss ratio volatility adjustments for capital models.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to advance pricing maturity and capabilities.
- Engage in peer review processes, offering feedback and driving cross-team development.

Cross-Functional Contribution:
- Work with colleagues across actuarial, underwriting, and business functions to deliver high-quality outputs.

### Required Skills & Experience

Qualification & Experience:
- Newly qualified actuary with at least 3+ years’ experience in London Market pricing.

Technical Proficiencies:
- Practical experience using a range of pricing techniques for Lloyd’s and London Market risks.
- Advantageous specialisms: Political Violence & Terrorism; Aviation (additional consideration for Casualty, Marine, or Energy).
- Experience analysing risks and pricing with Lloyd’s/London Market underwriters.

Tools & Methods:
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI, desirable.
- Experience with a coding language (SQL/Python) adds value.
