Pricing Analyst at Commercial

As a Pricing Analyst at Commercial you will be a key member of our Pricing team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Pricing Manager to shape and drive our pricing strategy.

Your insights and recommendations will support our sales teams in crafting compelling business proposals that fuel our growth ambitions.

Your Responsibilities

  • To work alongside both the Pricing Manager and sales community to ensure that all new business pricing proposals are carried out in line with the company’s growth and margin strategy.
  • Manage existing business annual price reviews and ensure that they fall in line with the company’s customer retention and margin strategy.
  • Engage and collaborate with both supplier and manufacturers on product deal renewals, ensuring we’re obtaining the best deals possible.
  • Monitor and review customer pricing to ensure it’s in line with any market changes, and to maximise on rebate and margin opportunities.
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the Pricing Manager with any ad hoc projects that are required by the business.

About You

  • Experience within a Pricing Analyst role
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, coupled with a critical thinking mindset.
  • High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail is an essential requirement for this role.
  • Work to an advanced level with Microsoft Excel as you will work with high volumes of data on a daily basis.
  • Communication is key to the success of this role, so excellent written and verbal communication is an essential skill required for this position as you will be liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you can work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to easily adapt to ever-changing environments and requests from the wider teams.
  • Results driven in order to achieve business objectives to an agreed timeline.
