Currys London Campus at Waterloo
Permanent
Full Time
Grade 4
At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of Base and Promotional pricing activity, ensuring we hold a strong, well-understood competitive position. Acting as a trusted pricing consultant, the Pricing Analyst works closely with our Buying, Merchandising and Go to Market teams to embed and drive adherence to our pricing strategy.
Candidates with knowledge or experience gained in Retail, E-Commerce or Consumer Electronics environments would be particularly well suited to this role. We view this role as being an excellent transition for someone who is either analytical looking to learn more about applying analytical work in a commercial way or for someone who is commercial looking to develop their analytical skills to complement their commercial experience.
There are no direct reports to this position; however, leading and supporting colleagues and key stakeholders through influence is encouraged. The Pricing Analyst will have frequent interaction with the Senior Marketing, Buying and Merchandising teams to deliver high quality analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track our competitive price position (CPI) across categories, giving Buying and category teams clear, actionable visibility of where we stand and where action may be needed
- Recommend Base price changes that keep us competitive, working with Buying teams to agree the right approach and see it through to execution
- Working with our external partners, help develop and improve our product mapping processes and validation – acting as the voice of the customer in this area
- Support the smooth running of Promotional pricing activity, working with Buying teams to understand and resolve any gaps in compliance against strategy
- Bring a commercial lens to pricing questions, using scenario analysis to support day-to-day decisions and knowing when to bring in the wider team for bigger trade-off or optimisation work
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Buying population, building relationships that encourage and embed adherence to the pricing strategy
- Help colleagues get the most from our pricing systems and processes, supporting and training users as new ways of working are introduced
- Keep pricing activity running smoothly day to day, making sure teams have what they need from our reporting and systems
- Bring AI into everyday ways of working, using it to speed up reporting and analysis and free up more time for commercial conversations with stakeholders
- Seek out opportunities to engage with teams to undertake pricing automation trials that support the wider pricing strategy

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
