Pricing Analyst
Micheldever Tyres is looking for an enthusiastic Pricing Analyst - to be responsible for day to day duties relating to pricing, price queries, competitor pricing and associated administration in order to deliver competitive pricing by channel to achieve established company objectives. The role involves working as part of a team to provide individual analysis, conclusions and recommendations, along with wider administrative and general support.

Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 8.30-17.00 (with some days required to stay after 17.00pm or work on weekends/bank holidays)

Training Opportunities
- Micheldever has strong Development Routes Programme and general learning on health and safety and other warehouse/logistics related topics
- Various learning and development routes are also available to all staff
About the role
- Analyse and report on current and future sell out pricing, margin and profitability
- Responsible for maintaining the price tools for premium, house (mid range) and budget brands across Wholesale, Retail and Feet sales channels
- Prepare and review brand price files for Monthly review
- Attend review meetings as required
- Maintain integrity of product data within the pricing systems and reports
- Prepare adhoc reports and analysis
- Implement price changes as needed
About you
- Experience working with large Excel databases and sets of data
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables, lookups and logical formulas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of VBA Macros, Power BI and Power Automate (Beneficial)
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, accounting or finance would be beneficial but not essential
- Graduates will also be considered
- Flexibility around core hours may be required, including weekend work associated with month end pricing upload process

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees company wide.
To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
