Pricing Analyst – Current Accounts


About the Role

As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll play a crucial part in the team responsible for overseeing the pricing, performance, and planning of Nationwide’s millions of current accounts.

Your role will focus on uncovering the story behind the numbers, contributing to our mission of understanding:

  • How money moves within the market
  • Customer and market dynamics driving these trends

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing pricing strategies to align with financial performance and customer needs
  • Researching and interpreting market and customer trends affecting account movements
  • Developing and maintaining pricing models to optimise efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product strategy and planning
  • Ensuring pricing contributes to long-term organisational goals, including sustainable growth

Requirements

While there are no fixed prerequisites, our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate raw data into actionable insights
  • A passion for financial services and market dynamics
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, or pricing strategies (advantageous but not essential)
  • Excel proficiency and experience with financial software
  • A structured approach to problem-solving, combined with creative thinking

Working Arrangements

We’re focused on practical productivity—helping you and your team perform at your best. For this role:

  • Flexible working hours (25-35 hours per week) demanded, tailored to fit your needs
  • Hybrid working model wherever feasible, combining physical collaboration in-office with remote work
  • At least two in-office days per week (or 40% of working time if part-time), based at either our Swindon or London office
