Senior Pricing Analyst

Hybrid - Leicester (1x day per week)
£45,000 - £60,000

The Role

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing pricing strategies that improve commercial performance and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and refining pricing segmentation strategies across products and customer groups
  • Analysing portfolio performance to identify pricing opportunities, trends, and emerging risks
  • Developing monitoring frameworks to assess pricing effectiveness and portfolio health
  • Delivering actionable insights that improve pricing accuracy and commercial outcomes
  • Supporting testing and optimisation initiatives to enhance pricing performance
  • Working closely with underwriting, product, commercial, and analytics teams to influence business decisions
  • Communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of pricing and analytics capabilities across the business

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical experience within pricing, modelling, forecasting, or quantitative analysis
  • Understanding of insurance pricing principles, segmentation methodologies, or similar commercial analytics functions
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, or comparable technologies
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear business recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
