Pricing and Commercial Lead
Job Overview
The Pricing & Commercial Lead is responsible for developing and managing the commercial strategy and pricing of the Travel eSIM portfolio, ensuring a competitive market position while delivering sustainable revenue growth and margin performance.
This role plays a critical part in balancing commercial performance, customer value, and strategic growth, owning portfolio pricing decisions, building robust business cases for campaigns and investments, and supporting the development of new commercial opportunities and ventures. The role works across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Business Development teams to drive data-led decision-making and accelerate business growth.

Role accountabilities
Pricing Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Own the end-to-end pricing strategy for the Travel eSIM portfolio across global markets.
- Develop pricing frameworks, guardrails, and methodologies that ensure competitiveness while delivering revenue and margin objectives.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market analysis, and pricing reviews to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend pricing changes based on customer demand, market dynamics, and commercial performance.
- Partner with wholesale and finance teams to understand cost drivers and maximise profitability.
Commercial Analysis & Business Cases
- Build financial models and business cases to support campaigns, promotions, pricing changes, and strategic investments.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities through detailed revenue, margin, ROI, and payback analysis.
- Provide recommendations to senior stakeholders on commercial viability and investment priorities.
- Support annual planning, forecasting, and trading activities through commercial performance analysis and reporting.
- Develop scenario modelling to assess risks, opportunities, and potential business impacts.

Campaign & Trading Support
- Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to evaluate campaign performance and promotional effectiveness.
- Define commercial objectives, success metrics, and expected returns for acquisition, retention, and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor trading performance and provide actionable recommendations to optimise revenue, conversion, and profitability.
- Track key commercial KPIs and provide insight-led reporting to leadership teams.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Track portfolio performance across revenue, margin, customer acquisition, and customer lifetime value metrics.
- Identify growth opportunities and continuously improve pricing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Support the development of commercial best practices and standardised analytical frameworks.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
Key performance indicators / Measures of success
- Revenue growth and margin delivery across the Travel eSIM portfolio, supported by clear pricing actions and trading recommendations.
- Competitiveness of portfolio pricing versus key market benchmarks, with regular reviews and timely recommendations where gaps or opportunities are identified.
- Quality and accuracy of commercial business cases, including revenue, margin, ROI, payback, and sensitivity analysis for campaigns, pricing changes, and investments.
- Campaign and promotion effectiveness, measured through agreed commercial outcomes such as conversion, acquisition, ROI, incremental revenue, and profitability.
- Forecasting and performance reporting accuracy, with clear insight into trading trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for leadership decision-making.
- Effectiveness of pricing governance, including use of clear guardrails, documented assumptions, stakeholder sign-off, and consistent decision-making processes.
- Identification and delivery of portfolio optimisation opportunities, including market-level pricing changes, cost-to-serve improvements, and profitability enhancements.
- Support for business development and new venture opportunities through robust commercial evaluation, scenario modelling, and clear recommendations.

Who you are
- Strong experience in pricing, commercial strategy, and revenue management within telecoms, technology, travel, or digital businesses.
- Proven ability to build financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to identify commercial opportunities and optimise performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple functions and seniority levels.
- Highly structured problem solver with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in fast-paced, international environments.
Desirable
- Experience within digital products, eSIM, travel, connectivity, or telco.
- Knowledge of pricing optimisation and commercial performance management.
- Experience supporting business development, partnerships, or new venture creation.
- Familiarity with campaign measurement, forecasting, and investment evaluation.
- Understanding of telecom wholesale, roaming, or connectivity economics.

- This role provides a hybrid working access from the comforts of your own home and only going to our state-of-the-art office in Paddington (2/3) days per week.
