About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Pricing and Promotions Assistant to join our Buying team at B&M. In this fast-paced role, you’ll support the Pricing and Promotions Manager in coordinating national promotional activity for FMCG and assisting with business-wide pricing processes across the company.
You’ll work closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams daily, helping to collate product information, manage promotional event data, and support the setup of price comparisons and campaign line-ups. This role requires excellent communication and organisation skills, along with strong Excel capability, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the coordination of promotional events across FMCG, from planning through to launch.
- Liaising daily with Buying and Merchandising teams to collate promotional and pricing information.
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of price comparison submissions and line lists.
- Maintaining and updating pricing and promotional trackers in Excel, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Helping to prepare documentation, presentations, and reports for internal sign-off meetings.
- Managing shared folders and ensure all pricing and promotional files are stored correctly and accessible

What you'll bring
- Previous experience in a retail head office environment or within a Buying, Merchandising, or Promotions team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
