Overview
Our mission is to create the leading suite of analytical & data products in the industry for empowering our pricing, data and analytics community to move faster and deliver more - with major commercial benefits. We as a team are working to maximise the efficiency and the quality of our underwriting pricing and host a range of tooling that is being adopted across the wider business. We’re looking for people to help us push new research to deliver commercial value directly and support our other product teams to improve too.

About you
Personal
- Analytical thinker / problem solver: Experience in pricing, market dynamics, underwriting a plus
- Strong accountability: confident owning and solving problems, challenging status quo
- Brilliant communicator: able to engage and trade information effectively in any setting
- Committed to collaboration: help internal customers get the most out of our products
- Responsive: able to context switch comfortably across multiple workstreams
- Lifelong learner: growth mindset both with and without direction
Technical
- Python
- SQL
- git and GitHub (branching, pull requests,...)
Bonus round (don’t be put off if you don’t tick any/all the boxes here!)
- Automation of processes/pipelines for data, analytics and operations
- ML-specific Python libraries
- Big data stack (snowflake/park, pyspark)
- Cloud computing, in particular Azure
