Pricing Controller

North London | £87,000 – £96,000 + excellent benefits

Shape the pricing strategy. Influence commercial performance.

Are you an experienced pricing professional who enjoys turning data and insight into commercial decisions? We’re looking for a Pricing Controller to help shape pricing and promotional strategy across a large, fast-moving wholesale business.

This is a high-impact role with genuine influence over pricing, promotions, margin and commercial performance. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Category, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and IT, helping build a more sophisticated, data-led approach to pricing.

Why this role?

You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible difference across pricing strategy and execution, improving promotional effectiveness and the way the business uses data to make commercial decisions. You’ll work across areas including elasticity modelling, promotional ROI, pricing measurement and systems, while also leading and developing a team of Pricing Analysts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
