We’re looking for an organised and proactive Pricing Co-ordinator to support our Pricing and Commercial team. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, pays attention to detail and wants to understand the commercial side of international logistics.
Working closely with our Pricing Manager, you’ll build your knowledge of freight pricing and supplier relationships. As your experience grows, you’ll have opportunities to take greater ownership of quotations, supplier negotiations and commercial projects, with the potential to progress within the team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Pricing Co-Ordinator will provide day-to-day support to Blaiklock’s Pricing and Commercial function across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Road Freight and Customs services.
The role will assist with the preparation and administration of accurate, competitive and commercially viable quotations, ensuring that pricing requests are processed efficiently and that the Sales Team receives the information and support required to develop new and existing business.

Working closely with the Pricing Manager, Sales Team, Operations, overseas partners, carriers and suppliers, the Pricing Co-Ordinator will help maintain pricing information, obtain supplier rates, update CargoWise and ensure quotation activity is managed accurately and within agreed timescales.
The role is ideally suited to an individual looking to develop their commercial knowledge and build a career within international freight forwarding and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Pricing Manager with daily quotation requests.
- Prepare accurate, timely quotations for Air, Ocean, Road and Customs services.
- Obtain supplier rates, chase outstanding information and identify better buying terms.
- Maintain accurate pricing, supplier rate files and quotation records in CargoWise.
- Work with Sales and Operations to ensure quotations reflect customer and operational requirements.
- Assist with customer information requests, quotation requests and tender submissions.
- Research market rates and competitor activity, supporting monthly market updates.
- Help maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers and overseas partners.
- Track quotations, gather sales feedback and support commercial reporting and administration.
- Protect confidential pricing information and follow company procedures and commercial policies.

Skills & Experience
- Good numerical ability, attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing requests and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with a professional telephone and email manner.
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A proactive, practical approach, commercial awareness and willingness to learn.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work accurately, independently and within a team.
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, pricing, customer service or freight operations is desirable.
- Knowledge of freight services, customs, rates, surcharges and Incoterms is desirable.
- Experience using CargoWise or a similar freight-forwarding system is desirable.
